KW Suspensions has launched the four-way adjustable V5 coilover system for the SRT Viper, offering next-level handling and performance customization. Utilizing KW's Solid Piston technology, drawn from their motorsports expertise, the V5 dampers separate high- and low-speed compression and rebound adjustments, allowing for precise tuning. Unlike traditional dampers, the V5 design moves the hydraulic fluid into a separate valve body, resulting in higher damping forces, more grip, and enhanced feedback on the road. Drivers can achieve stepless lowering from 10 to 20 millimeters up front and 5 to 20 millimeters at the rear, maintaining ride comfort without compromising the Viper's raw performance.
Florian Johann, KW Brand Manager, highlights the system鈥檚 advanced design: 鈥淲ith our solid-piston suspensions, we can work with much lower spring rates on road suspensions than with other systems thanks to the higher force range of the dampers.鈥� The KW V5 offers fine-tuning through ergonomic adjustment wheels and is available with an optional hydraulic lift system to raise the car by 45 millimeters when needed. Pricing starts at $11,999, with the lift system pushing the MSRP to $15,599.
